Wedding Day Emergency Kit
There are products on
the market purporting to contain everything a bride needs in her wedding day
emergency kit. If you get one of these, be sure to double-check the
contents against this list to make sure nothing essential has been left out!
Wedding Day Grooming:
- small container of hand lotion
- wet wipes
- soft tissues
- cotton balls or swabs
- makeup to match what you will be
wearing
- makeup remover
- nail polish in shade worn
- nail polish remover
- nail file
- tweezers
- small scissors
- small towel
- lint brush
- curling iron, hot rollers, whatever you
need for your hair
- hairdryer
- brush, comb
- hairspray, hair gel
- bobby pins, hair elastics, barrettes
- headband or clips for pulling hair back
while applying makeup
- toothbrush and toothpaste, floss
- mouthwash
- baby powder
- deodorant
- perfume
Wedding Attire
- throwaway garter
- clear nail polish for pantyhose runs,
or better yet a second pair
- extra earring backs
- extra buttons
- flat shoes for the reception if you
will need them
- iron, if possible, or portable steamer
- extra pantyhose
- safety pins and sewing kit with thread
for bride's and attendants' dresses
- masking tape or sewing tape
- club soda or other stain remover--we
love Shout wipes
